Angelica Egger, the mother of actress Mika dela Cruz reacted to rumors that she was impregnated by Nash Aguas.
In an interview, she stressed that her daughter is not pregnant.
“We are not upset actually, since we know the truth. We are all laughing about it,” she said.
“It is not true (na buntis si Mika). It started with a post of Nash on Instagram and his joke was misinterpreted by vloggers and spread like wildfire,” she added.
The actor’s IG post is the photo of him alongside his girlfriend which was accompanied by intriguing caption.
“Imbitado po kayong lahat sa binyag ng aking anak na si @mikadlacruz HAHAHAHAHAHHA SORRY NA LABYU HAHAHA,” he quipped.
It was even reported by Celebrity YT Channel on the video-sharing platform, claiming that Mika is indeed pregnant.
According to his explanation via a video on Instagram, “Nag-post po ako at ang picture na mukhang nakapangbinyag si Mika tapos ayon sa YouTube buntis daw si Mika. Ha-hahaha! May sinapupunan pa. Hahahaha! What the heck.”
At present, Nash and Mika have no plans to have a baby because they are still young and busy with their respective career.
