Johnny Depp Crime Drama W/ Forest Whitaker Drops This Month

JOHNNY DEPP – After a long delay, Johnny Depp’s crime drama “City Of Lies” is about to be released this month.

Amid the global pandemic, several movies were delayed. However, Depp’s film with Hollywood Veteran Forest Whitaker has been delayed since 2018.

But, fans can finally see a glimpse of Depp back in the silver screen following the entire Amber Heard issue. This, along with financing issues from the production company handling the film was said to be the reason for the delay.

Still, regardless of the three-year delay, the film can now be seen in theaters and VOD on March 19. Here is the trailer:

City of Lies tells the real-life story of the investigation on the death of one of the biggest rap icons ever, Christopher Wallace, also known as Notorious BIG in 1997.

Depp plays the role of a detective while Forest Whitaker takes on the mantle of a journalist deeply involved in the case. Here is the synopsis of the story:
