Lawyer of Dacera Case Respondents Cites Effects of Accusations Vs. Clients
LAWYER OF DACERA CASE RESPONDENTS – The lawyer of Rommel Galido and JP dela Serna spoke on charges filed against Christine Dacera’s mom and several others.
The issues surrounding the death of Christine Angelica Dacera, a 23-year-old flight attendant who was found dead in a hotel in Makati last January 1, have yet to come to a conclusion.
Charges were filed against at least 11 people who were with Christine prior to her death. The Philippine Airlines (PAL) flight attendant stayed at City Garden Grand Hotel for the New Year celebration.
According to Christine’s companions, one of them is a manager of the said hotel so they got a huge discount. They claimed that they had hard drinks and they also played parlor games.

However, according to Rommel Galido, he found Christine Dacera unconscious in a bathtub the following day – which was January 1 already. They reportedly tried to revive her and even rushed her to Makati Medical Center but she was declared dead on arrival.
The mother of Christine, Sharon Dacera, and her family do not believe that she died of ruptured aortic aneurysm, the result of the autopsy. Charges were filed against at least 11 people.
Recently, two (2) of the Christine Dacera case respondents, Rommel Galido and JP dela Serna, also filed charges against Sharon Dacera. Aside from Christine’s mom, they also filed cases against some from her camp and officials of the Makati PNP.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the lawyer of the Dacera case respondents said that Sharon’s camp has tainted the reputation of his clients. Also, Galido and dela Serna experienced undue stress due to the cases filed against them.
According to the lawyer of the Dacera case respondents, what the police did was illegal when they detained and filed charges against his clients. Multiple cases are currently faced by Galido and Dela Serna over the death of Christine.
