Xiaomi CEO confirmed that Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 and Xiaomi Tablet was expected to launch this year.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun on Sunday officially confirmed that the company was expected to launch Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 and Xiaomi Tablet this year.
At the conference on Sunday, Xiaomi’s chief executive Lei Jun confirmed that the company was set to launch Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 this year. In addition, he revealed that Xiaomi will restart its own infamous tablet lineup.
Shortly after Lei Jun’s talk with Mi Fans, Xiaomi’s product director Wang Teng also confirmed the said report. According to Wang Teng, a new MIX was coming this year but Mi fans would have to wait.

Previously, Xiaomi annually released two flagships — one in the digital series early in the year and another one in the Mi MIX series later in the year.
However, Xiaomi had not released any other smartphone in the MIX series since the release of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G last May 2019. With this, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will be coming after a two-year lacuna in the Mi MIX series.
As for the Xiaomi Tablet, Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 series was officially released last 2018.
When asked if the company’s upcoming tablet would have pen support, Xiaomi — through its official account on Weibo — simply replied “in arrangement”.
This means that the company’s upcoming tablet — initially named as Mi Pad 5 — would support a stylus as Xiaomi had never released any tablet that has a stylus support as of this writing.
Prior to Lei Jun’s announcement, Xiaomi unveiled its first concept smartphone with a quad-curved waterfall display.
