Bill Gates Predicts Bioterrorism, Climate Change Are New Threats To Mankind

BILL GATES PREDICTS NEW THREATS – Microsoft chief and billionaire Bill Gates gives another prediction on two new threats to mankind.

Back in 2015, Gates predicted that the world would be caught off-guard for the next epidemic. Five years later, his prediction somewhat came to fruition as leaders across the world downplayed the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, gates warns about two possible threats to humanity – climate change and bioterrorism.

Gates believed that there could be a potential virus similar to COVID-19. As such, he stressed that world leaders need to prepare for this potential scenario.

According to an article from Ladbible, Gates said:

If anything kills over 10 million people in the next few decades, it’s likely to be a highly infectious virus rather than a war… Not missiles, but microbes.

Meanwhile, during a recent interview with the YouTube channel Veritasium, he said “There’s no good feeling that comes with something like this saying ‘I told you so“.

In the interview gates said climate change would cause more deaths each year that would be greater than this current pandemic. Additionally, Gates warned about the potential threat of bioterrorism. He said:

“Bio-terrorism. Somebody who wants to cause damage could engineer a virus and that means the cost, the chance of running into this is more than the naturally-caused epidemics like the current one.

Moreover, he also believed that humanity will never be able to stop future pandemics. However, he emphasized that humans could always prepare well enough to avoid massive deaths worldwide.
