The vlogger was identified as Winnie Wong, alias Penelope Pop, who according to the FDA is the partner of Toni Gonzaga in the sale of unregistered cologne spray.

In a letter to Attoney Ronaldo Ledesma, Chairman of the Board of Special Inquiry of the Bureau of Immigration, the Action for Consumerism and Transparency (ACTION) group said Wong was a Taiwanese whose real name was Yun-i Wang.

They also reported that Wong lives in the Philippines using a Special Investors Residence Visa. This means that she is not allowed to work as an endorser and it is also forbidden to sell retail products, such as cosmetics.

Despite this, the FDA also ruled that Wong was selling a perfume named “Pouf!” without permission or testing from the FDA.

The FDA also said that Wong’s perfume may contain “heavy metals” that are dangerous to the health of its users.

As a result, the FDA recently issued a warning to the public not to purchase the said product.

Actress Toni Gonzaga was also involved in this issue, as she is said to be Wong’s partner in the TGWW company which manages the online packaging and sale of the said product right from Wong’s house at Number 7, North Park Kawayan Street, Forbes Park, Makati.

According to Action Secretary-General Vito Gaspar Silo, the government has a responsibility to safeguard the safety of consumers.

Because of this, the FDA’s exposure on Wong is enough, so that the said vlogger and influencer can be deported out of the Philippines and back to Taiwan.
