According to the FDA, POUF! Everyday Cologne Spray does not have a valid Certificate of Product Notification and is violating the FDA Act of 2009.

POUF! is a product line of TGWW Everyday Lifestyle Studio, a company that derives its name from the initials of its owners; Toni Gonzaga and Winnie Wong, and is based in Makati City.

“Potential hazards may come from ingredients that are not allowed to be part of a cosmetic product or from the contamination of heavy metals,” FDA said via Advisory No. 2020-2188.

“The use of substandard and possibly adulterated cosmetic products may result adverse reactions including, but not limited to, skin irritation, itchiness, anaphylactic shock, and organ failure,” it added.

FDA noted that TGWW is registered as a company selling bags, notebooks, and toiletries.

The company and the product were among those complained by the consumer group, Action for Consumerism and Transparency in Nation because apparently, their cosmetic product doesn’t have a license from the FDA.
