Here’s the reaction of Barbie Imperial to an old video of Sara Duterte
Actress Barbie Imperial is currently making rounds online following her reaction to an old video showing Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte throwing punches at a sheriff during demolition.
Recently, a certain Francis Baraan IV whose Twitter handle name is @MrFrankBaraan and is human rights defender based on his profile went to the micro-blogging site wherein he posted an old video of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte in an altercation with a sheriff.
It is accompanied by the caption: “This is not who we are. We are a nation of laws. A civil society never acts like barbarians & brutes. Mayor pa lang si Sara Duterte dito. Imagine how she would if she became the next President. NEVER AGAIN.”
The tweet was then flooded with mixed reactions and among those who shared Baraan’s tweet is no less than actress Barbie Imperial.
On Twitter, she shared the tweet with a short caption: “Scary (accompanied by a pensive face emoji).”
Baraan also commented on Barbie Imperial’s shared post with the statement: “Yeah. Scary talaga, Bhie.”
Barbie Imperial’s tweet also earned bitter-sour taste from the netizens.
Meanwhile, while some are rooting for Sara Duterte to run for the presidency in the 2022 elections, her father incumbent-President Rodrigo Duterte said she’s not running for the highest post in the country.
