Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. lambasted the chief-of-police of Bato town in Catanduanes following the latter’s statement on the shooting of a mother and son in Tarlac.

On Sunday, December 20, an inhuman incident took place in Tarlac at the hands of Police Senior Master Sergeant Jonel Nuezca who shot dead Sonya and Frank Gregorio in their residence.

This was after their scuffle that started when Frank and others were playing, “Boga”- an improvised cannon made of PVC pipe or tin cans.

Jonel Nuezca went to their residence to confront Frank and it prompted a commotion.

The incident later escalated which resulted in the death of Sonya and Frank Gregorio after being shot in the head twice.

Meanwhile, the tragedy caused turmoil on the internet after a video of the crime was posted online.

Among those who reacted is Police Captain Ariel Buraga, chief-of-police of Bato town in Catanduanes who said in a now-deleted post that even the older ones should respect the law enforcers.

He even confirmed that Sonya Gregorio was among to be blamed in the confrontation between her, her son and the killer cop.

Meanwhile, Foreign Affairs secretary Teodor Locsin Jr. took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein he lambasted the chief of police of Bato, Catanduanes.

“Is it true an (expletive) police officer said that this incident will teach people, even if they have white hair, to respect police? Pu******* mo. I see you in the street I will run over you, you piece of native sh*t and incontrovertible proof that Independence was premature,” Locsin said.
