Here’s what Pia Wurtzbach said about Rabiya Mateo
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach gave her honest opinion about Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo.
Pia, along with former beauty queens Bianca Guidotti and Carla Lizardo, had the chance to interview the newly-crowned MUP 2020 during a recent episode of their digital talk show Queentuhan.
The third Pinay Miss Universe said that she thinks that the Ilongga beauty queen has a chance in making it big in the international pageant because of her dedication and discipline.
Pia Wurtzbach also said that she commends the fact that Rabiya Mateo knows what are her strengths and the things she needs to work out.
“Alam mo kung saan ka possible na ma-trigger, alam mo kung saan ka dapat mag-train pa. Ang laki ng self-awareness mo which is so important because you have to have that open mind, that you need to keep learning,” she said.
The Miss U 2015 also said that Rabiya did not settle in just winning and depending on a certain formula.
“Pero parang na-notice ko sa ‘yo na sobrang open mo to learning and inoobserbahan mo rin ‘yung sarili mo na, ‘Ito dapat gawin ko, ganito, ganyan.’ Which is so good and so important for a person who wants to keep improving and wants to win,” Pia added.
Then the the talk show host said that Rabiya is on the right path already as she does not need change when it comes to her way of training and her line of thinking.
“May all the stars align for you, Rabiya. You are our bunso. So bunso, make us all proud,” Pia Wurtzbach wished for the Miss Universe Philippines 2020.
