Neil Salvacion, the boyfriend of Miss Universe PH 2020
Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo revealed that she has been in a relationship with Neil Salvacion, a nurse, for six years already.
In an interview with Dyan Castillejo of ABS-CBN News a few days after she was crowned, Rabiya said that Neil Salvacion is her first boyfriend.
The 24-year old beauty queen said, “We’ve been dating for six years. He’s my first boyfriend … We’ve been together since college.”
Rabiya added, “I can make a man stay!”
She said her boyfriend is very supportive of her dream of becoming Miss Universe Philippines.
Before she fought in the national pageant, she shared they had an oath that even if she won the crown, she would not leave her boyfriend.
Rabiya was crowned as the first Miss Universe Philippines 2020 on October 25.
In a separate interview with Bombo Radyo Iloilo with Rabiya Mateo on November 2, the Ilongga beauty queen said that her boyfriend is from Sta. Barbara, Iloilo.
She said that she is very grateful to Neil Salvacion who understood her busy schedule since she won the Miss Universe Philippines 2020.
According to her, many are actually telling her that they will eventually breakup.
But she believes that “if it’s true love, it will never end.”
