Filipino Artists Express Condolences Over Jamir Garcia’s Demise
JAMIR GARCIA – A lot of Filipino artists have expressed their condolences over the unexpected death of Slapshock vocalist’s death.
On Thursday morning (November 26, 2020), Vladimir “Jamir” A. Garcia passed away after taking his own life. The singer’s body has been found lifeless inside the comfort room of their house in Quezon City.
Quezon City Police District Talipapa Police chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Christine Tabdi confirmed the Slapschock frontman’s death. Garcia has been brought to Metro North hospital but his physician declared him dead on arrival.
QCPD’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit takes over the investigation regarding the case and would release update regarding the incident sooner or later as soon as results are available.
The former Filipino metal band Slapshock even changed their profile picture to black as sign of grieving after the death of their vocalist. The band members mourned and expressed their condolences to Garcia’s family.
Pinoy musicians and artists have also expressed their sadness after hearing the bad news. Some of them are Raymund Marasigan, Ebe Dancel, Paulo Avelino, and other popular personalities in the country.
