PNP chief Sinas: “baka dudumugin, baka nanakawin, baka i-hoard, masira pa ang vaccine”
PNP chief Police General Debold Sinas said that they are now preparing for the possible COVID-19 vaccination.
“Kami po ay natutuwa, kaya nga kami ay naghahanda na rin kami, naghanda kami para ang mga kasamahan namin ay nakaready at nakahanda paano iimplement ‘yan,” he said.
“Knowing the President, sabi niya unahin ang PNP saka siguro AFP kasi sabi niya noong una ang magpatupad ng pagvaccine ay military at pulis, pag sinabi nong bakit, kasi nga pag walang military at pulis, baka dudumugin, baka nanakawin, baka i-hoard, masira pa ang vaccine…” he added.
In a recent statement, Duterte said that he needs a healthy security force because they are the “errand (boys) of the republic.”
Duterte also noted that aside from the police and military, the poor and vulnerable sector including the frontliners will be prioritized in the vaccination for COVID-19.
Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. earlier told the press that areas with more than 3,000 active cases will be the government’s priority in the COVID-19 vaccination which is expected in 2021.
