“It’s an MTRCB call, but on the perspective of FDCP all of these platform right now have their own mechanisms for regulation. So may mga controls sila na ginagamit para to make sure na may classification ang panonood ng pelikula,” she said.
According to the 39-year-old wife of Ice Seguerra, the MTRCB’s decision will have an impact on the implementation of regulations on the release of content on digital platforms.
She cited the worldwide release of Netflix content wherein subscribers watch almost simultaneously.
“So I think, it’s best to revisit and tingnan natin kung ano ba ang value versus the effect also of these kind of regulation,” she said based on the article of the entertainment website, Push.
Meanwhile, Liza Diño-Seguerra has denied the rumors that she will be running as a senator in the 2022 election.
She stressed that she has no plans to leave the agency and she’s focused on the various projects of FDCP which aims to help the movie industry.
