Here’s the ‘hugot’ song of Ice Seguerra about SAP

Singer-songwriter Ice Seguerra shared his “hugot” song for Pinoys who haven’t receive yet the cash aid through the social amelioration program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Before going back to his music, Ice served as the chairperson of the National Youth Commission (NYC). Years before this, he was formerly known as Aiza Seguerra who was one of the most popular child stars during the 90s.

Later on, he ventured into the music industry and created hit songs such as ‘Pagdating ng Panahon‘. The said song is about being hopeful in waiting for the right person. Apparently, this became also a “hugot” song of people who are still waiting to receive the cash assistance from SAP.

Ice shared this meme on his recent Instagram post. It was his photo with written text:

The singer-songwriter simply captioned his post with “Ehem”. Several celebrities commented on this such as Paolo Ballesteros, Sheryn Regis, and Sylvia Sanchez.

Meanwhile, an earlier report stated that the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) stated that Pinoys who did not receive cash assistance during the first distribution of SAP will receive on the second distribution.

However, several beneficiaries of SAP were criticized for using the cash assistance that they received for gambling and buying liquor. There was even one SAP recipient who was arrested due to curfew violation because she got a hair rebond treatment from the money she received from SAP.
