The Fabunan Antiviral Injection still wasn’t registered with the FDA, according to DOH.

The Fabunan Antiviral Injection still wasn’t registered with the Food and Drug Administration, according to the Department of Health.

This, as Maria Rosario Vergeire, the undersecretary of the Department of Health, told reporters in a virtual briefing on Tuesday that the public should be wary of medicines or vaccines that haven’t been registered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

According to Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire, the DOH reminded the Fabunan Medical Clinic to apply with the Food and Drug Administration, adding that the Fabunan Medical Clinic would have to register the said vaccine to the FDA in order for the Department of Health to check if it’s good or not.

As per the report, Vergeire stated that those who used the unregistered product — could be in a form of vaccine or medicine — on COVID-19 patients will be held liable.

  1. Ok do your part for a speedy study for it, it needs support from the DOH or else the FDA will not act on it. We need results.

  2. Philippine Government should make immediate reactions about Dr. Fabunan’s offer. Our country is in bad condition.
