Janno Gibbs has reacted to the resignation Anjo Yllana from the longest-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga
On Tuesday, August 11, Anjo Yllana took to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he announced his resignation from the GMA-7 top-rating noontime show, Eat Bulaga.
“With a heavy heart… today Aug.11 2020… I submit my resignation… thank you Dabarkads…thank you Eat Bulaga…21 years and it was a blast… Good Bye and all roads to your 50th,” he said.
His post immediately generated mixed reactions and comments from the netizens with some expressing their sadness over his resignation.
Among those who commented is former Kapuso actor-singer, Janno Gibbs who noted a prayer and heart emojis.
However, Anjo refused to divulge his reason for leaving the show.
Janno Gibbs and Anjo Yllana first worked together in the Ober da Bakod and their comic tandem was revived through Beh Bote Nga.
They also appeared together in Eat Bulaga until Janno resigned from the show and later on transferred to ABS-CBN.
Meanwhile, GMA-7 as well as the management of Eat Bulaga is yet to issue any statement regarding the resignation of Anjo Yllana.
