Clinical trials for Avigan will be held in selected hospitals in Metro Manila, according to DOH.

The Department of Health (DOH) on Wednesday said that the clinical trials for Avigan will be held in selected hospitals in Metro Manila soon.

This, as Avigan was one of the possible treatments for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) being explored by the Department of Health.

According to the Department of Health, the said project will be implemented in selected hospitals in Metro Manila — including the Philippine General Hospital, Quirino Memorial Medical Center, Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital, and Sta. Ana Hospital.
