Pinoy singer Joshua Regala who hails from Ireland got four chair turns during his audition on The Voice Kids UK.
In the blind auditions, the 15-year-old balladeer made a soulful rendition of Calum Scott’s hit single, “You Are The Reason.”
The young Filipino hopeful got four chair turns from the shows’ judges; will.i.am, Paloma Faith, Danny Jones, and Pixie Lott.
After performing his audition piece, he was asked by Paloma Faith to perform a duet alongside his mom- giving judges goosebumps.
Amazed by Joshua’s performance, Calum Scott himself took to the image-sharing site, Instagram wherein he shared the audition video of the Pinoy singer.

“Still mad to hear my song being performed on auditions, total full circle! Massive congratulations Joshua on such an amazing performance last night,” he said.
The English singer who started his career after joining Britain’s Got Talent shared that his single clinched the number 17 spot on iTunes right after the blind auditions.
Joshua Regala, on the other hand, went to Instagram wherein he thanked the singer behind the song he performed during the bllind auditions.
“Once again thank you @calumscott so so much for posting my blind audition. Still cant believe that this is real,” he said.
Based on the article of Sunday World newspaper via Philippine entertainment website, Push, Joshua’s mother, Marcisa Regala, works as a nurse at Dublin Connolly Hospital in Ireland.
Joshua Regala, who is now one of the members of Pixie Lott’s team, is a lead vocalist of a band at a local church called Lighthouse Community Church.
