Poor Lady Blocks Vehicles to Ask Money from Drivers, MMDA Chief Says She Might be Under Influence of Solvent
A poor lady was caught on camera blocking vehicles to ask money from the drivers along a busy and heavily congested road.
Nowadays, the traffic authorities are implementing stricter rules and regulations to address the worsening traffic condition throughout the Philippines. Traffic violators would face corresponding sanctions and penalities.
The Twitter page “DZMM TeleRadyo” has shared the video footage of an unidentified woman blocking the vehicles along a busy road just to ask money from the drivers. The video is now circulating online.
In the video, it can be seen that the lady wearing a black shirt and jeans are bravely walking in the middle of the street blocking vehicles. The woman is also asking alms from the drivers causing traffic congestion at EDSA.
MMDA EDSA traffic operations chief Bong Nebrija said that they are suspecting the woman of sniffing solvent. The video was taken along EDSA Cubao Monte SB on Thursday morning (July 23, 2020).
