It’s Showtime returns
The return of ABS-CBN noontime show “It’s Showtime” via Kapamilya Channel continues to dominate as the top-trending topic on the micro-blogging site, Twitter.
It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda couldn’t help but become emotional as they welcome anew the “madlang pipol” after a month of hiatus.
“We are back,” the comedian said. “Miss na miss namin kayong lahat. Alam namin hinihintay n’yo kami. Ito na magkakasama na tayo ulit. Sana magdire-diretso na” the host added.
It’s Showtime opened with a production number courtesy of Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario who performed Kamikazee’s “Doo Bidoo.”
Ion Perez and Jackque Gonzaga then showcased a dance number of Kim Chiu’s viral song, “Bawal Lumabas.”
In the said production number, Vice Ganda featured his rendition of “Sa Ngalan ng Pag-ibig” by December Avenue followed by “Kahit Pa” performance of Karylle, Jugs and Teddy.
According to ABS-CBN News, hosts have observed physical distancing by wearing a facial mask and maintaining one-meter distance apart from each other.
Meanwhile, the return of It’s Showtime via Kapamilya Channel is dominating the social media particularly on Twitter.
As of posting, #ShowtimeMagkaisayahan has already generated more than 20,000 tweets and still the number 1 topic on Twitter Philippines.
Kapamilya Channel– wherein It’s Showtime is being aired will be available beginning June 13, 2020, on SKY, Cablelink, G Sat, and to name a few.
Aside from It’s Showtime, several Kapamilya shows will also return on television such as “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” “A Soldier’s Heart” and “Love Thy Woman.”
However, “Make it with You” starring phenomenal love team; Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil or popularly known as LizQuen won’t make a comeback on TV.
