The two employees of the radio company were admitted at the Region I Medical Center (R1MC).

The two employees were considered asymptomatic since they do not show any symptoms of the dreaded disease.

They were tested by the provincial health office last June 8 according to the Department of Health (DOH).

The test results of the two radio employees were laid down by the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center- wherein their swab samples were analyzed since it is the closest facility in Dagupan that has a molecular laboratory.

Meanwhile, based on the report of Inquirer.net, the 13 city health workers who contracted coronavirus disease have been discharged from R1MC last June 12 after they have recovered from COVID-19.

Dr. Ophelia Rivera, focal person for COVID-19 in Dagupan also noted that patient number 14, who’s isolated in Pangasinan Provincial Hospital in San Carlos City, recovered from the disease.

However, the result of the patient’s second swab testing is still pending.

At least 1,400 local government workers have already went through coronavirus disease swab testing after Mayor Brian Lim announced the expansion of COVID-19 testing.

A total of 10 residents of Dagupan while others are from the towns of San Fabian, Mangaldan, and Calasiao, and San Carlos City turned out positive for COVID-19.

As of posting, the city has registered 23 cases of coronavirus disease 2019.
