Angelica Panganiban defends Kim Chiu
Actress Angelica Panganiban slammed a basher who apparently called Kapamilya star-turned-internet sensation Kim Chiu, “tanga.”
On Saturday, June 20, the 33-year-old actress took to the image-sharing site, Instagram wherein she posted a video snippet for the online show, “Saging Beside You” with accompanying question, “Sino Ang Tanga?”
The said online show also features fellow casts of Angelica Panganiban on Banana Sundae such as John Prats, Pooh, Jayson Gainza, Wacky Kiray, and Ryan Bang.
In the said clip, they poked fun at Angelica Panganiban, by calling her “tanga” in terms of love.
While the clip gains a fair share of comments and reactions from Instagram users, a netizen according to PEP.ph, commented and stated, “sino ang tanga”: “Edi si @chinitaprincess hahaha”
The Instagram handle of Kim Chiu is @chinitaprincess.
Angelica Panganiban then lambasted the netizen and commented: “ay, parang mas ikaw”.
But the netizen refused to concede and replied: “@iamangelicap hahaha! Parang mas bagay sayo korona.. ikaw pala reyna nila! Hahaha”
Angelica did not respond to the basher.
Angelica and Kim are closed with each other.
In fact, they made a group along with Bela Padilla that netizens called AngBeKi (ANGelica-BEla-KIm).
Meanwhile, Kim Chiu was heavily criticized following her social media gaffe called “Bawal Lumabas.”
This was after her controversial statement on the abrupt shutdown of ABS-CBN following a cease and desist order by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
