The young children send heart-touching letters to health workers who were on our first line of defense against the coronavirus disease.
The World Health Organization has declared the coronavirus disease as “pandemic” after it spreads rapidly in different countries all around the world. The contagious disease has already infected thousands of people worldwide.
The health scare caused fear and panic to the people after a thousand individuals have died due to the deadly virus. The public has been also advised to take precautionary measures to avoid exposure to the disease.
The health authorities and the Philippines government are already exerting efforts to prevent the spread of the virus in the country. Health workers are enduring exhaustion just to serve the Filipino people.
Recently, young children have sent handwritten letters for health workers who were facing the coronavirus disease in 2019. The kids expressed their love and support to our front liners although we are not physically present.
The children are giving their letters at any branch of Landers Superstore in partnership with the Philippine Army. The store is also delivering free food to various health institutions with the heart-touching letters.
“The food will warm their stomachs and sustain their strength for the task ahead. The letters, we hope, would warm their hearts and let them know that we, the families and the children of our members, are thinking of them and cheering them on.” Landers Superstore said.
