DOH Confirms 45 New Coronavirus Cases

45 NEW CORONAVIRUS CASES – The Department of Health (DOH) released an update regarding the COVID-19 cases in the Philippines.

The Philippines is now on the battle to curb the spread of the 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19. The said disease has left several countries under an outbreak and that is what the PH authorities wanted to prevent here in the country.

As of this writing, the coronavirus death toll in PH is at twelve (12). These 12 individuals died during the treatment and most of them are aged 50 years old and up with underlying condition.

The Department of Health (DOH) and the other responsible offices are doing contact tracing right after every after case confirmation. The individuals the patients had a contact with must be monitored.

Recently, DOH gave an update. The health department recorded 45 new coronavirus cases in the country bringing the total confirmed COVID-19 cases to 187.

Along with it, the DOH reported the second Filipino who recovered from COVID-19. A total of four (4) patients have recovered from the disease.
