2 More Coronavirus Deaths Recorded by DOH Today

DOH – The Department of Health confirmed two (2) more coronavirus deaths in the Philippines today, March 14, 2020.

Currently, there are 64 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Philippines according to the Department of Health (DOH). There is an increasing momentum on the recorded cases since the last few days.

Metro Manila, where most patients of COVID-19 are treated, is now under a “community quarantine”. All land, sea, and air travels to and from Metro Manila beginning March 15, 2020 are put on hold.

There are several people who are now considered as patients under investigation (PUIs) and persons under monitoring (PUMs) in the different parts of the country. Some of them are those who had a contact to the coronavirus patients while others are travelers from abroad.

Previously, a case of local transmission was also confirmed by the Department of Health (DOH) in the Philippines. A 62-year-old man who tested positive for the disease has no travel history.

Recently, DOH posted an update confirming the death of two (2) more coronavirus patients in the Philippines. This is another addition apart from the death case reported this morning.

The total death toll due to coronavirus in the Philippines is eight (8). According to the health department, they are still gathering the details about the two (2) COVID-19 who passed away.

  1. I am so sad about this cases, knowing the numbers stated here are confirmed I know there are others out there who are sick but untreated. Actions must be ASAP not any more waiting for a few days, for Barangay levels, health personnel’s must visit each houses and investigate if the household is healthy or not. This must be done ASAP.
