Facebook Users Can Donate In Order To Help Fight COVID-19.

Facebook recently launched its feature that allows users to donate to the United Nations Foundation, the fundraiser of COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

This, as the United Nations Foundation, the fundraiser of the COVID-19 Solidarity Response, was supporting the World Health Organization’s global efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

The COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, according to the United Nations Foundation, allows individuals, corporations, foundations, and other organizations around the world to directly support World Health Organization’s global work in order to help countries prevent, detect, and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic in accordance with the WHO Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan.

The said fund was created at the request of WHO by the United Nations Foundation in partnership with the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation. Facebook was also matching the first USD 10 million donated. As of this writing, PHP 183,801,749 was raised out of the PHP 513,066,337.
