Coronavirus Test Result of Senator Nancy Binay

SENATOR NANCY BINAY – The results of the coronavirus test of Philippine Sen. Nancy Binay was released.

Prior to Metro Manila being placed under “community quarantine” prompting the suspension of some work due to the coronavirus epidemic, the Senate building was closed. It was after a resource speaker in one of the Senate hearings tested positive for coronavirus.

The fight against the spread of the 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19 is one big challenge for the Philippines. Currently, the coronavirus death toll is at 12.

According to the Department of Health (DOH), there is now a total of 142 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country. Most patients are confined and treated in Metro Manila hospitals and medical facilities.

One of those patients who went critical due to coronavirus infection is the Senate resource speaker. Following him testing positive for the disease, several senators decided to undergo self-quarantine.

One of the lawmakers who went on self-quarantine is Senator Nancy Binay. She also tested for coronavirus and the result was recently out.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Sen. Binay tested negative for coronavirus. However, one of her colleagues, Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri, tested positive for COVID-19.

Sen. Zubiri is asymptomatic or showing no signs of coronavirus. He stressed that he was very careful in his dealings but he still got infected by the disease.
