In Guiguinto, Bulacan, a crocodile that measures about 6ft was caught by some residents
CROCODILE – A six-foot-long crocodile was caught by residents on a farm near the Guiguinto river, Bulacan.
The residents caught the crocodile near the river in Barangay Malis.
A certain Elizarde Ezusan said that his brother was fishing when the latter spotted the animal
Along with other residents, they worked together to capture it and they found out it measures about six feet.
According to the municipal agriculturist, what the residents captured is a kind of saltwater crocodile that was first spotted a few weeks ago.
A microchip was implanted in the animal and a DNA sample was taken to find out where it came from.
The amphibian will be placed under the custody of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
It is still a mystery how come there was a crocodile in the said river in Guiguinto.

Meanwhile, in a report of 24 Oras last August 2020, at least ten (10) crocodiles were found at a private farm in Barangay Tabe of the said town.
The farm housing the crocs was discovered when a raid at an illegal cockpit was launched. Reportedly, some sabungeros who are trying to find their way out and evade the authorities ended in the said farm.
In fact, one of the sabungeros was bitten by the crocodile.
The barangay officials even reported to the authorities what they have found but when the authorities came to the farm, none of them was found.
