Joaquin Domagoso supports his father’s call for the withdrawal of VP Robredo
JOAQUIN DOMAGOSO – The son of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno also called for the withdrawal of Vice President Leni Robredo from the presidential race.
Moreno will run for president alongside his running mate, Doc Willie Ong.
They will go against the tandem of Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Kiko Pangilinan, former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos and Sara Duterte, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative Lito Atienza, Senator Ping Lacson and Tito Sotto and to name a few.
Recently, Moreno with Ong, Lacson, Sotto, and former Defense Secretary Norberto Gonzales held a press conference at The Peninsula Manila in Makati City.
At one point, Moreno declared that Robredo should back out from the presidential race.
Moreno’s call for Robredo to back out from the presidential race was supported by no other than his son, Joaquin Domagoso.
The 20-year-old actor took to the image-sharing site, Instagram on Sunday wherein he posted a photo of himself at the campaign rally of his father.
Joaquin Domagoso is wearing a jacket with the name of his father and his running mate Doc Willie Ong.
His post was accompanied by the caption/hashtags: “#WithdrawLeni #UniteforIsko #SwitchToIsko.”
Pacquiao was supposed to attend the said press conference, however, he failed to.
According to Isko Moreno and Lacson, Pacquiao was among those who signed the statement they read at the press conference.
Isko Moreno has yet to issue any statement with regards to the pronouncement of his son.
