Filipinos are naturally talented. Whether in the field of music, cookery, fashion, arts and crafts, there’s always a Filipino who excels in such areas.

But what’s more amazing is the fact that even little children are also doing great in those fields.

Throughout history, there are youngsters who have made a name for themselves in different fields.

One of them is a 5-year-old motocross champion, Melvin Ezra Aquino.

Melvin is an energetic, sweet, and playful kid whenever he’s at home but when he’s on the track, he’s like a professional motocross racer.

In fact, he recently won the 2022 Davsons Motocross Race of the Champions in Antipolo.

According to his father Mel, who’s a motocross trainer, his son started at an early age of 1 through a pushbike.

Eventually, he decided to teach his child how to maneuver a real motorcycle.

When he was 3-years-old, he joined competitions and did not fail to bring home the title despite the fact that some of his competitors are bigger than him.

Currently, he’s preparing for big motocross competitions in the country and even in Asia.

Asked for a piece of advice for those who aspire to become motocross racers like him, he said: “Kailangan maging brave at strong.”
