Bongbong Marcos or BBM will run for president in the coming elections together with his runningmate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio. They will go against the tandem of; Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.

A lot of personalities, celebrities, and even politicians have expressed their support to Bongbong Marcos and among those is no less than former Presidential Spokesperson, Salvador Panelo.

In a statement, he said: “Those who toppled the Marcos regime have only themselves to blame for the rise of Bongbong Marcos. They sequestered power with the promise of ending poverty, social and economic inequality, and human rights abuses, but they not only propagated them but institutionalized the same. BBM is favored to win the presidency.”

Salvador Panelo expressed his support to BBM, days after the PDP-Laban Cusi wing announced its endorsement for Marcos’ candidacy in the 2022 elections.
