Vico Sotto Gives Advice To Pasigueño Voters
VICO SOTTO – Mayor Vico Sotto advised Pasigueño voters to choose a leader who is best and will be most effective
The national and local elections are set for May 9. Candidates are on a double-time to reach as many Filipinos as they can before the campaign period is over.
Vice President Leni Robredo’s latest grand rally was held in Emerald Avenue in Pasig City. Several celebrities such as Angel Locsin, Julia Barretto, Donny Pangilinan, Jake Ejercito, and Robi Domingo attended the ‘Pasiglaban.’
US pop star Ariana Grande also trended online for her Instagram posts about Leni Robredo’s grand rally. She uploaded videos of the massive crowd in Pasig singing her song “Break Free.”

During the flag-raising at the Pasig City hall on Monday, Mayor Vico Sotto gave his advice to the city’s voters. He told them to choose who is the best and truly effective political leader.
“What we want for Pasig is for everyone to be given an opportunity. That what we fought for — the freedom of everyone to listen to all the candidate…”
“We want to be open to everyone. Then we will choose who is the best, who we think will be the most effective.”
Vico told the Pasigueños to always follow the rules of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC). He said, “Let’s always just remember the rules and guidelines of COMELEC and let’s abide by it.”
“We need to work together to be sure that everything goes smoothly until the elections,” he added.
Shifting to another issue, the 32-year-old politician is now facing a cyber libel complaint filed by his vice mayor Iyo Caruncho Bernardo. He is Vico’s opponent in the mayoralty race in the coming local elections.
