Vico Sotto had a meeting with the Lacson-Sotto tandem
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto was asked if he will endorse Senator Ping Lacson and Senate President Tito Sotto after having a meeting with the tandem on March 9.
The Lacson-Sotto tandem, with Mayor Vico’s father, Eat Bulaga host Vic Sotto, went to Pasig City hall. For an hour, the tandem, along with senatorial candidate Gringo Honasan had a conversation with the young local chief executive.
After the meeting, reporters were already waiting for each of them to be interviewed. Based on the Twitter post of ABS-CBN reporter Kat Domingo, Vic Sotto said that there was no discussion about political matters as he said that it was just “kwentuhan.”
When asked if he became a way why this meeting was made possible, the veteran comedian-host said that it is obvious that Mayor Vico is his son. However, Vic said that people should just decipher when he was asked if the Pasig City Mayor promised anything to the presidential and vice-presidential aspirants.

In just a short period of time, the Kapamilya reporter was able to ask if he will endorse Senator Ping Lacson and his uncle Senator Tito Sotto in the 2022 elections. Mayor Vico answered, “Wala. Nag-promise ako.”
However, when the young mayor was asked the “promise” that he mentioned, he just answered, “secret”. Previously, the local chief executive has already expressed that he does not want to involve himself in national politics.

Mayor Vico Sotto has been reiterating that his focus is on his constituents in Pasig and how to help them amid the pandemic and the problems brought by the health crisis.
