Jinggoy Estrada and Jake Ejercito showed how close they are to each other
Actor-politician Jinggoy Estrada and Kapamilya star Jake Ejercito talked about their relationship as half-siblings.
Although they have different mothers, this did not become a hindrance between Jinggoy and Jake to bond together. In a recent interview on comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz’s YouTube channel, the half-siblings shared how close they are.
Jake shared that it was Jinggoy who opened the door of showbiz to him. The older son of former President Erap Estrada said that he encouraged Jake to join his movie Coming Home.
Jinggoy also shared that he became like a father figure to all his siblings and this is what he exactly did to Jake. It was the actor-politician who first knew about Jake’s daughter.
“Mas naunang nalaman nila kuya,” Jake Ejercito shared as he said that feared the possible reaction of their father. It was Jinggoy Estrada who brought up this topic to Erap Estrada.
The actor-politician also shared that Jake, as well as his other siblings, are very down-to-earth and “hindi mahangin.” For the Kapamilya actor, he is always grateful that being half-siblings was never an issue between them.
When it comes to Jake’s effort to be the best dad he could be for his daughter Ellie, Jinggoy said that he admires his younger brother. For the actor-politician, he said that he will always be supportive of all his siblings regardless of whether they are “full or half”.
Being the eldest, Jinggoy Estrada stressed that it is his obligation to support all his siblings. They even revealed during the interview that they have a group chat.
“Gusto ko rin sila makita na maging matagumpasy kanilang fields of interest,” he said. The eldest son of Erap Estrada also said that his siblings can easily contact him whenever they need him. Jake added that sometimes, it is even Jinggoy who invites them to have a get-together.
Despite having different political beliefs, Jake and Jinggoy said that their brotherhood would not change.
