Leni Robredo Grand Rally in Pasig Gets Ariana Grande’s Attention
LENI ROBREDO – American singer Ariana Grande trended online for her social media posts about VP Leni Robredo, who is running for president.
Vice President Leni Robredo’s Pasiglaban was held at Emerald Avenue, Pasig City on Sunday, March 20. Several celebrities such as Julia Barretto, Angel Locsin, Robi Domingo, and Donny Pangilinan attended the event to support Leni-Kiko tandem.
Dubbed as ‘Pasiglaban Para sa Tropa Pasig City People’s Rally,’ the event said to be the biggest crowd for Leni since the start of the campaign period. Pasig PNP said an estimated 137,000 people attended the rally.
The crowd at the Pasiglaban reportedly stretched from Julia Vargas to Ortigas avenues. “Ito po ba ‘yung sinasabi nilang hakot lang? Kayo ba yung tinatawag nilang bayaran? Malinaw na malinaw naman na hindi kayo bayad,” Leni told the crowd.

American pop star Ariana Grande also trended online for her post about VP Leni. She shared videos of the massive crowd in Pasig singing her hit song “Break Free.
The 28-year-old singer has 300 million IG followers and is among the Top 10 most followed celebs on social media. Ari has 2 Grammy awards under her belt: Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Rain On Me” with Lady Gaga and Best Pop Vocal Album for “Sweetener.”
Ariana Grande’s “Break” was among the songs in the grand rally. She posted the clip on her IG filled with gratitude. “I could not believe this was real (pleading face emojis), I love you more than words,” she said in her IG story.
