Here’s the message of Vivian Velez to Bongbong Marcos over his non-attendance in CNN debate
VIVIAN VELEZ – The former actress criticized the non-attendance of presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in the CNN debate held on February 7.
It was just recently when CNN Philippines held a presidential debate.
The debate was attended by the top presidential aspirants except for former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
Among those who attended the debate are the following; labor leader Leody de Guzman, ex-presidential spokesman Ernesto Abella, Jose Montemayor Jr., former defense chief Norberto Gonzales, Sen. Manny Pacquiao, Faisal Mangondato, Sen. Ping Lacson, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, and Vice President Leni Robredo
His non-attendance on the said debate was criticized by no other than showbiz personality, Vivian Velez.
According to her via a Facebook post, by not attending debates- BBM is showing a lack of commitment to serving the Filipino people.
She added that Marcos’ strategy of not going to debates might gave him a negative impression.
“Kung hindi ka humaharap, ibig sabihin wala kang malinaw na plataporma,” she stressed.
To recall, Velez was saddened by the decision of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio to unite with Marcos Jr.
Velez has been rooting the presidential daughter to run for president.
“In one of my lucid dreams. Nagiisang berde sa mga pula Bakit Inday? Babawi kami kay Bong Go.’No regrets in life, just lessons learned,'” Velez said.
Since Go will not run for president, Velez chose to support Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.
Meanwhile, the May 9, 2020 election is fast approaching.
The presidential candidates are busy campaigning across the country conducting sorties ahead of the coming polls.
