Bato dela Rosa: “Klaruhin natin, na kami ni Senator Bongbong ay hindi magkalaban”
BATO DELA ROSA – The PNP chief-turned-senator reacted to the support of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio to presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos.
It was just recently when Inday Sara and BBM met in Cebu City for the birthday celebration of Yedda Romualdez, wife of House of Representatives Majority Leader Martin Romualdez.
Rumors immediately surface that they might have discussed their possible tandem in the coming elections during their meeting.
But the presidential daughter has already withdrawn interest to run for president in the next poll. On the other hand, she has been vocal in supporting Marcos’ candidacy.
When Bato dela Rosa was asked for the support expressed by the presidential daughter to the former senator, he said he’s not “insecure.”
He also clarified that he and Bongbong are not enemies, rather colleagues.
“But pagdating sa issue na yan, really to be honest with you, I did not feel any insecurity pagdating sa support ni Mayor Inday Sara [kay Bongbong],” he stressed.
Sara Duterte has earlier announced that her party, Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) had talked about supporting Marcos in his candidacy.
Bato dela Rosa and Bongbong Marcos or BBM, are vying for the highest position in the government in the May 9, 2022 elections.
They will go against the presidential aspirants such as; Vice President Leni Robredo, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Senators Manny Pacquiao and Ping Lacson along with other hopefuls. An immense battle between the candidates is expected in the coming months for the election.
