Christopher de Leon Tests Positive for Coronavirus
CHRISTOPHER DE LEON – The veteran actor was confirmed positive for the 2019 novel coronavirus.
The continuous increase in the confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Philippines alarm not only the authorities but as well as the ordinary citizens. For more than a week now, the total number of confirmed cases has an upward momentum.
Currently, there is a total of 187 confirmed COVID-19 cases in PH. According to the Department of Health (DOH), twelve (12) of the patients died during the treatment.
The whole Luzon is under an “enhanced community quarantine” now ordering the public to stay at home. The entire Philippines is under a state of calamity.
Recently, an actor in the Philippine entertainment industry confirmed that he tested positive for coronavirus. Veteran actor Christopher de Leon made the announcement about his condition through a social media post.
According to Christopher, he has no recent travel abroad. He does not also remember a contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 but stressed that he interacts to a lot of people considering his work.
In his post, Christopher asked everyone who had a contact with him to observe self-quarantine and follow the procedures of the DOH. His family is now under a self-quarantine at their house.
