2 Coronavirus Patients Died, DOH Announces

DOH – The Department of Health confirmed that two (2) patients of coronavirus in the Philippines died.

The growing coronavirus cases in the Philippines are on the watch. The said disease has hit several countries across the globe hardly and PH is racing against time to curb its spread.

Currently, there is a total of 187 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country. It was after 45 new cases of the disease were confirmed today.

The Department of Health reported that another Filipino patient recovered from coronavirus. The recovery toll is now at four (4).

Recently, DOH released another update. It confirmed that two (2) coronavirus patients in the Philippines died.

According to the health department, PH126 and PH129 expired at the Adventist Medical Center in Manila and Lung Center of the Philippines respectively. Both suffered from Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS).

The health department stated on its announcement PH126 was diabetic and had a hypertensive cardiovascular disease. PH129 was hypertensive. The recent deaths brings the coronavirus death toll to 14.
