Here’s why Bernadette Sembrano is a proud Kapamilya
BERNADETTE SEMBRANO – The Kapamilya anchor took to the image-sharing platform, Instagram, wherein she bid farewell to weatherman Kim Atienza also known as Kuya Kim.
It was on September 29 when Kuya Kim announced that he will be leaving ABS-CBN and TV Patrol on October 1, as he transfers to GMA Network.
Kuya Kim has been in the network for the last 15 years.
He is set to join 24 Oras on October 4 as a temporary weather presenter while Nathaniel “Mang Tani” Cruz is on leave.
He will also host a segment in Mars Pa More and an untitled trivia television show that will serve as pre-programming to 24 Oras.
His departure saddened many and among those who’s heartbroken is news anchor Bernadette Sembrano.
Recently, she went to Instagram wherein she posted a photo of herself alongside Kuya Kim. Her post is accompanied by a lengthy statement that also stated why she’s proud of being a Kapamilya.
She stressed that even those who are no longer working under ABS-CBN are still a Kapamilya.

It would be recalled that it was on July 10, 2020, when Congress canceled the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN that led to the closure of the giant network.
Because of this, the management of ABS-CBN decided to retrench some of its workers. There were also talents who decided to transfer to other networks such as Pokwang, Bea Alonzo and the latest is Kuya Kim.
