Kim Chiu, dubbed as the new queen of Star Magic

Actress-host Kim Chiu has reacted after being dubbed as the new queen of Star Magic.

This came after her contract renewal with Star Magic.

In the contract re-signing, she was with the so-called senior stars of Star Magic as well as new talents of the Kapamilya network.

She was then asked if she’s the new queen of Star Magic.

“Una, hindi ako reyna. Marami pang mas matagal pa sa mundo ng Star Magic,” she said during the digital conference of the newest iWant series, Bawal Lumabas.

Star Magic is the management arm of ABS-CBN which was founded by Johnny Manahan in 1992.

Due to the franchise denial of the network, several stars left the network including the so-called Star Maker, Mr. M.

Kim was one of those who stayed with the Kapamilya Network.

Star Magic is now under the management of Director Laurenti Dyogi.

Kim further explained: “Nag-expire na kasi ‘yung contract ko sa Star Magic and ABS-CBN, so ako ‘yung natira na medyo senior sa kanilang lahat,” she quipped

Kim Chiu rose to fame when she was declared as the winner of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition in 2006.

Today, Kim continues to rise as a host and also by sharing her talent as a movie personality.
