On November 1, Typhoon Rolly devastated the country and one of the worst-hit areas is CamSur.

When asked how Bicol has been going through after the previous typhoon, Imelda Papin said: “Naku, grabe! Ngayon, tinatamaan naman kami ng bagyong Ulysses!”

According to her, many have been given help especially those who are living near coastal areas.

Imelda Papin noted that they are preparing for the upcoming Typhoon Ulysses which is expected to make landfall over Quezon province between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

Meanwhile, Typhoon Ulysses intensifies as it moves closer towards the Quezon-Aurora area.

It is traversing West Northwestward at 20 km/h and has maximum sustained winds of 125 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 155 km/h.

As of 11 AM on November 11, 2020, Typhoon Ulysses was spotted at 100 km North of Virac, Catanduanes.

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) 3-1 have been raised in various parts of the country particularly in Luzon.

Due to the expected landfall of Typhoon Ulysses, classes have been suspended by select schools and local government units (LGUs).

Several domestic and international flights were also canceled as Ulysses continues to intensify.
