Gabbi Garcia revealed her reason why she initially didn’t want to work with Khalil Ramos
Kapuso host Gabbi Garcia had recently revealed her reason why she initially didn’t want to work with her boyfriend Khalil Ramos.
This, as she opened up about working with Khalil and how they didn’t want to work with each other when they first started dating in 2017.
Then, Khalil and Gabbi were both already in showbiz but they were working in different projects and networks which actually worked to their favor.
During her online media conference for In Real Life, Gabbi said that she and Khalil avoided working together in the earlier stages of their relationship at first, adding that they really didn’t want to work with each other at that time.
As their relationship progressed, Gabbi and Khalil became more comfortable with the idea of being paired with each other on a project and becoming more public about their relationship.

Khalil and Gabbi previously starred as Zack and Sarah in the 2019 movie “LSS”.
Gabbi also said that they learned how to manage it as they grew up in their relationship by keeping boundaries when it comes to their work and personal life.
“Dapat alam mo ‘yung pino-protektahan mong privacy sa trabaho at sa inyong relationship and to just know when to protect that privacy,” Gabbi said.
Opportunities for Khalil and Gabbi to work together became more possible because Khalil was officially a Kapuso after signing a contract with GMA Artist Center last October 2020.
Khalil and Gabbi were set to star in GMA Network’s upcoming teleserye “Love You, Stranger”. Also, Gabbi was set to host GMA Network’s upcoming youth-oriented show “IRL (In Real Life)” wherein her boyfriend was her first guest.
