Kelvin Miranda: ‘hindi ko sila sasaklawan’
Kapuso actor Kelvin Miranda reacted to criticisms after he bagged the lead role in the upcoming GMA series, The Lost Recipe.
The 21-year-old actor will star with Mikee Quintos in the forthcoming fantasy-romantic prime-time series.
But before he was given a big break, he used to play mostly supporting roles.
While some are lauding the actor, many are criticizing him.
When asked what is his message towards his critics, Kelvin Miranda said:
“’Yun po ang pananaw nila at hindi ko yun sasaklawan.”
“Sa akin lang po, ang kailangan kong gawin ay ang trabaho ko at kailangan kong pagbutihin ito araw-araw. Mag-improve kada oras, kada minuto,” he added.
Meanwhile, many have noticed that he resembles Kapamilya A-lister Daniel Padilla.
In terms of acting, he’s said to be following the footsteps of Alden Richards.
Because of this, he’s flattered and pressured to prove himself more in the show business.
Last year, Kelvin Miranda starred in the 2019 indie movie, Dead Kids, starring Sue Ramirez, Markus Paterson, and Khalil Ramos.
Kelvin Miranda also had a support role in the films Ang Henerasyong Sumuko sa Love and D’Ninang which were both released in 2019.
Kelvin Miranda won as Best Actor at the 6th Urduja Film Festival for the 2019 movie, The Fate.
The taping for his upcoming series will kick off this coming November.
