Actor Baron Geisler and singer-actor Mikoy Morales had recently shared in an interview about some tips on how to maintain sanity.

This, as they had imparted some ways in order to help keep one’s sanity in check amid the uncertainties brought about by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Baron and Mikoy had recently appeared on Mental Wellness webinar series of Pilipino Star Ngayon with physician and life coach Doc Gia Sison as moderator, as well as mental health advocates Roy Dahildahil, Dr. RJ Naguit, and Ramon Fernandez III as fellow guests.

They had been using their voice in order to raise awareness after their own mental health struggles and journey.

Here are some tips on how to maintain sanity from the online discussion:

Take care of yourself spiritually

Baron Geisler shared that he made an effort to “connect right away to God” to ask for guidance throughout the day as soon as he woke up. He also shared that he tried to practice a mindset of kindness.

Read self-help books or the Bible

You may try reading books that could actually be a tool for your self-improvement and a source for words of inspiration and encouragement as well.

Connect with your core group

You need to open up to someone or to a certain group about what you’re going through. Baron briefly explained that he/she should just always be open to his/her family and friends.

Have low expectations but high acceptance

Baron shared that you should have low expectations only and high acceptance so that you won’t be sad if you don’t achieve what you wanted, adding that the most important thing was to just enjoy what you have, appreciate it, and do what you have.
