Zac Alviz Sparks Debate After Calling Life a Race
ZAC ALVIZ – The social media content creator sparked online discussion after sharing his opinion about success and pursuing goals in life.
In a post published on June 25, he expressed that he does not completely agree with the popular saying, “Life is not a race.” According to him, some people use this phrase as an excuse to avoid taking action or working hard toward their dreams. He believes that for individuals with big ambitions and heavy responsibilities, life can feel like a race because time and opportunities matter, especially for those who are supporting their families or trying to break the cycle of poverty.
After receiving mixed reactions, Zac clarified that his message was not intended for everyone. He explained that his perspective is mainly for ambitious people, breadwinners, and those who are determined to improve their family’s future. At the same time, he emphasized that there is nothing wrong with choosing a simple, peaceful, or comfortable life. He also pointed out that no one is required to chase success based on other people’s standards or prove anything to anyone. Instead, he believes that his mindset may only be helpful for people whose goals and responsibilities are greater than their desire for comfort.

His post quickly attracted different opinions from netizens. Some criticized his statement, saying it placed unnecessary pressure on people and overlooked the fact that everyone faces different struggles and progresses at their own pace. Others argued that life should not be treated as a competition because people start from different circumstances and carry different responsibilities. Many also shared the view that life is more like a marathon, where perseverance and consistency are more important than speed. Meanwhile, some agreed with Zac, believing that a strong sense of urgency is necessary for people who carry the responsibility of supporting their families and achieving bigger dreams.

The discussion once again placed Zac at the center of online attention. This was not the first time he went viral, as he also gained public attention in July 2025 after sharing his views on condominium investments during the rainy season and natural disasters.
