Cleanfuel Defends Dominic Roque Against False Accusations
CLEANFUEL – The gas corporation categorically denied online rumors suggesting that their brand ambassador, Dominic Roque, received a gifted gasoline station. The company clarified that these accusations are untrue and misleading.
In their statement, the gas corporation reiterated Roque’s earlier assertion through his legal representative that he does not own any gasoline station under the Cleanfuel brand. The statement further emphasized Roque’s six years of professional representation as a brand ambassador, highlighting his significant contribution to the success and image of the company.
Additionally, the gas corporation emphasized that they neither provide nor offer franchises to individuals. Cleanfuel, known for pioneering Auto Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) as a cleaner and more affordable alternative to gasoline, also sells diesel and premium fuels in its stations.
Here’s the official statement of the gas corporation:
“Cleanfuel strongly condemns the false accusations that involve its brand ambassador, Dominic Roque.
To answer the misleading reports and false information circulating over social media, we are
categorically denying the allegation that Mr. Roque was given a Cleanfuel gasoline station.
Being a company-owned entity, Cleanfuel does not provide nor extend franchise to anyone
as claimed by some.
In his capacity as brand ambassador, Mr. Roque has worked and represented the brand professionally
for the past six years. His contribution has been vital to reflect the company’s image and brand success.
Please be guided accordingly.”
The statement from the gas corporation comes after Roque, represented by Fernandez & Singson Law Offices, refuted claims made by Cristy Fermin in her vlogs. Roque’s lawyers explicitly stated that he does not own any Cleanfuel gas station, emphasizing that all Cleanfuel stations are company-owned.
Atty. Jesus “Bong” Suntay, a partner at the gas corporation, previously dismissed rumors of gifting a gasoline station to Roque, finding the claims amusing and considering them as free publicity for the company. Earlier this month, Roque and his former fiancée, actress Bea Alonzo, announced the cancellation of their wedding plans following statements made by television show host Boy Abunda regarding their separation.
