“Hindi pa po ako patay, gagraduate pa lang”! Graduating student makes clarification about his viral graduation tarpaulin
GRAD PIC – A graduating student named Jaecee garnered widespread attention over his graduation tarpaulin being displayed on the hood of a car that was used to pick him up.
To address the misconceptions that arose from the photo, Jaecee took the opportunity to clarify that he was very much alive and about to graduate, contrary to what some people may have assumed.
Jaecee expressed his surprise upon discovering that his relatives had set up a tarpaulin on the hood of a car. The vehicle, owned by his uncle, was used to pick him up for his graduation.
The attention the photo received was due to the mistaken belief that Jaecee had passed away, which he found amusing. He shared that people from his community were looking at him strangely, perhaps under the impression that he had already died, even though he was still at home. Jaecee decided to post about it on social media to prevent further misunderstandings.
According to Jaecee, the graduation tarpaulin was a playful act initiated by his relatives. Jaecee emphasized that he wasn’t offended by the gimmick. Instead, he found it funny because his relatives often engaged in such lighthearted mischief. As for why the tarpaulin was placed on the car, it was simply a prank or a joke orchestrated by his uncle.
“Hindi pa po ako patay, gagraduate pa lang,” he noted as the caption on his post. “Pero pwede na po ako tumanggap ng cash in advance,” he added. His post generated mixed reactions from the netizens.
