Julius Babao lambast bashers of ABS-CBN
Broadcaster Julius Babao slammed the bashers of ABS-CBN who wish ill for the Kapamilya Network.
Recently, the 51-year-old newscaster took to the microblogging site, Twitter wherein he castigated the internet trolls or bashers of ABS-CBN.
“In this time of pandemic where many are losing their jobs. To wish it upon ANY of the 11,000 employees & talents of ABS-CBN or ANY person is downright evil,” he noted.
In the article of PEP.ph, Julius Babao stressed that despite the imperfections of the network, it has served the public in various ways.
Without mentioning names, Julius Babao blasted the congressmen who are making it difficult for ABS-CBN executives and lawyers in settling issues surrounding the network’s franchise renewal.
On Wednesday, June 17, the seventh hearing of the ABS-CBN franchise renewal bill transpired at the lower house.
Julius Babao lauded ABS-CBN vice-chairman Atty. Augusto “Jake” Almeda-Lopez who was among the attendees in the said hearing.

“Look not into the darkness that pulls our country down but focus on the light that will uplift us all,” he said.
“Thank you Attorney Jake Almeda ( not Almendras ) Lopez for being a beacon of light to all of us in these troubling times. #labankapamilya #notoabscbnshutdown #kapamilya,” he added.
It was on May 5, 2020, when ABS-CBN shutdown following a cease and desist order by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
The giant network failed to renew its franchise which expired last May 4.
Meanwhile, the eight Congressional hearing for the franchise renewal bills of ABS-CBN is scheduled on Tuesday, June 23.

Ako nanonood lng at matagal na sa abs-cbn at d ako shareholder. Kung may di Maga da walang problem. Ang GMA may nagawa Kay Leo Marcos at nailabas ang kanyang fake news sa pnhon NG pandemic, di ba hindi Maga da Yun. Ibig sabihin Kung may ngawa sa mga news Nila inayos nmn cguro Kaya nirereklamo. Pero Kung pinatay MO na at hahabulin MO paano ka nga mkakuha NG Pera Para sa pandemya. Tama ba ako?
